Apple, Google and "Smart Devices"

A few days ago, I was walking my dog toward the downtown area while chatting on my phone.   A boy about 12 years old, swished up to me on his skate board at the cross light and commented, ?Thank Goodness you still have the iPhone 4S.?  It was pretty stunning, both that he recognized the phone so adeptly and made that comment.  So I responded, ?Really?  Why??
